| The common impression of the middle ages is as much based on fiction as historical facts. Therefore the medieval line has been inspired by everything from Jeanne d´Arc to Lord of the rings. In European history also the Viking era is included in the epoch, and the designer has actually studied the Norse culture and language at the University of Bergen. The Moyen Âge garments are not a regular part of the assortment, but are available by made to measure orders only. The entire original line (including the depicted garments) is sold out, to customers in Norway, USA and France. However, Rudy Wolff is still inspired by heraldry and can also offer simple, heraldic flags made to measure. |
