The Versailles line is inspired by the golden age of
the Bourbons, by baroque and rococo, lace, pearls
and powder, matching the colorful cast of characters
of the age: The charlatan and seductive nature of
Giancomo Casanova, Marie Antoinette´s tall hair
pouf and vain superficiality, and Gustavus III,
whom is both remembered for the elegant furniture
style named after him and the homoerotic rumours
... The line inspired the Making History collection as
well as garments made for
the Opera Ball in Oslo.
